 Atef Farag's career as performer, teacher, and choreographers spans over 30 years and includes work with the National Folkloric Troupe of Egypt from 1970-1974, member of the world-famous Reda Troupe of Folkloric Dance from 1975 to the present, and trainer and director of the Egyptian Folkloric Troupe at the American University in Cairo since 1989. As a member of the Reda Troupe since 1975, Atef has performed throughout the Arab World, Europe, the Far East, and beyond. He also choreographed new pieces for the Troupe. A full time master trainer since 1993, he continues to train and mentor new generations of folkloric dancers in the priceless repertory of the Reda Troupe. As director of the AUC Egyptian Folkloric Troupe he has presented authentic Egyptian folk dance at 45 international folk dance festivals all over the world including Germany, France, Spain, Turkey, Italy and the USA. In addition to choreography and teaching, he has produced and directed many shows from staging, costuming and music to lighting and set design.
Atef is in demand as a teacher for foreign dancers traveling to Egypt to study and has been an instructor at Raqia Hassan's Ahlan wa Sahlan summer dance festival and Winter Teacher's Course since 2005, and has toured the United States, Europe and the Far East numerous times to present workshops in Egyptian dance.

Magda Ibrahim was a performer in Egypt's Reda Troupe from 1975 till 1995, and now works full time as a trainer for the Troupe. She performed in Europe (Italy, Greece, France, Switzerland, England, Germany, Romania), the USA, as well as the Far East (Japan, India, Singapore, the Philippines). When principal dancer Farida Fahmy retired from the stage, Magda performed Farida's most famous and complicated solos on stage including the Haggala, the Muwashahat, Saidi, and more. She was one of the star soloists of the Reda Troupe until 1995 when she decided become a full time trainer. She has progressed from training beginners to general trainer to the head trainer of the Reda Troupe, and is respected and loved by her colleagues and students for her knowledge of Egytpian dance and her generosity in sharing it. She has imparted her priceless knowledge of the Reda Troupe Magda has been teaching Egyptian folkloric dance at the American University in Cairo since 1990, and has been a master teacher at Raqia Hassan's Ahlan wa Sahlan summer festival and Winter Teacher's Course since 2005. A consummate teacher, Magda is unparalleled in the clarity and precision of her instruction, and the depth of her technical and cultural knowledge. Magda's original choreographies are characterized by elegance, musicality, and clarity and combine folkloric and Oriental movements, drawn from her extensive repertoire, to create dances that are truly Egyptian.
